 Coleen Fox Humberson,
     Owner/Director of Foxtrot Dance Studio, is a member of the Professional Dancer Teachers Association and the Federation of Dance Competitions (FDC); and has successfully been teaching children the art and passion of dance for the past 35 years. Coleen and her students have attended numerous conventions and competitions since 1978, including: Star Systems National Talent Competition, Starpower National Talent Competition, Dance America, Applause Talent Presentations, Encore Talent Productions, Creation Dance Championships, Starquest International, Dancer Makers Inc., Hoctors Dance Convention, Dance Olympus, On Stage America, and Starbound National Talent Competition.

     Over the past years, Coleen's students have performed throughout the Pittsburgh and surrounding area, including PNC Park featuring Star Search's Vanessa Campagna,  Disney Channel's teen sensation Kelsey Wilson in concert, Pittsburgh's Celebrate the Season's Parade, WPXI's Wake Up Your Dreams at the Byham Theater, as well as full scholarships to universities and colleges,  The Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts, The Rockette Summer Intensive, SHOCK the INTENSIVE, Dance Olympus VIPs, and professional dance careers.
     Coleen has been named TOP TEACHER by Star Systems National Talent Competition from 2004-2009, and her students have been awarded national titles, scholarships, and a handful of award winning regional and national choreography titles.

Karen Collins-Wade, 
    Co-director of Foxtrot Dance Studio, Karen has been a part of the Foxtrot family since the young age of five. She has graciously made her way back to Pittsburgh after becoming a proud member of the Gus Giordanos Dance Company in Chicago. She has been an  instructor at Foxtrot Dance Studio for the past nine years and having her as part of our faculty gives each and every dancer the opportunity to learn from a professional, principal dancer in many of the recreational classes.

    Karen is a graduate of CAPA high school, where she won the Outstanding Dancer Award all 4 years of her attendance, and has won numerous regional and national titles throughout her dance career. She then attended Towson University as a dance major to further her education in dance where she earned her BFA Degree in Dance and was offered a job in Chicago as a member of the Gus Giordanos Dance Company.

Kassandra Humberson,

     Kassandra began her dancing career at Foxtrot Dance Studio the age of four, and currently attends at Ohio University where she is studying to achieve her BFA in Dance.

     Kassandra has been a part of Foxtrot's competition team since the age of six and has won numerous platinum awards, titles, and scholarships such as: Star System's National Top Teen Soloist 2005, Star System's Regional Top Teen Soloist 2005, Applause Talent's Top Senior Soloist 2008, Art Stone's Dancer of the Year scholarship 2006-2009, Dance Olympus's VIP scholarship, Starpower's PowerPak Scholarship, Star System's Shock the Intensive Scholarship, 2008 Gene Kelly Scholarship, Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts recipient 2006, Applause Talent's Windy City Dance Directive & Shootout Dance Convention scholarship.

     Kassandra stuided gymnastics under the direction of Jutec Kasamon, owner/director of Kasamon Gymnastics and Dance Center from the age of nine to seventeen and has won several Pennsylvania state and sectional championship titles. Kassandra is also a member of USA Gymnastics Association and teachs many acro and tumbling classes at the studio.

     Between trimesters, Kassandra choreographs a handful of routines for Foxtrot Dance Studio's annual Dance Recital and Competition Team and continues to attend conventions and workshops including SHOCK, The Pulse, and Dance America taking from such choreographers as Melody Lacayanga, Tina Cyphert, Ryan Cyphert, Mark Goodman, Allen Cooper, Shane Sparks, Gustavo Vargas and many more.
